Ghost Carp Lake offers private fishing holidays in the beautiful rural setting of the Loire Valley, France. Our large 3.5-acre lake and smaller 1-acre lake are both stocked with a wide range of carp, pike and tench, including Ghost, Grass and Mirror Carp - with some carp weighing up to 50lb!
The land is privately-owned, so there are no strict rules or regulations - and you have exclusive use of the lakes 24-hours-a-day, enabling you to do as much night-fishing as you want! Use of our well-equipped 6-berth mobile home is also included in the price - or you can stay in the medieval town of Vitré, just 10 minutes away. The lakes are set in beautiful, peaceful countryside - but if you're bringing family or non-fishing friends there's plenty in the surrounding area to keep them busy!

At the end of 2007 we undertook a major netting to remove all the smaller carp that had spawned during the year. The lakes are now full to the brim with the larger fish - including an extra thirty-four 20lb and 30lb carp we added - ready for some fantastic fishing in 2008! Click here to find out more...
